Krishna Kumar, USPTR Certified Professional is the Founder - Director of KINESIS with over a decade of tennis coaching experience in India and the Middle East. In 2011 he was the recipient of the USPTR India Coach of the Year Award, and in 2002 he was the recipient of the USPTR India Presidents Award. As a qualified Engineer (IIT-Chennai) - MBA (IIM-Bangalore) he has over two decades of top management corporate experience in India and overseas. In addition to his achievements in the sports world, Krishna Kumar is globally recognized as a pioneer in the field of leadership, executive and life coaching. He is the first person from India to be elected as a Member of the Board of Governors of the International Association of Coaching and is also a Founding Fellow of the ICPA, a coaching research Institute, affiliated to the Harvard Medical College.

Capt. Pavan Murthy, PTR Charter Member, USPTA, USTA is closely associated with KINESIS as Advisor for all tennis coaching programmes and the development of the coaching curriculum. Capt Murthy is a former Middle East tennis champion and the coach of the Bahrain National/Davis Cup team. In addition to his stupendous achievements in tennis, Capt Murthy is a postgraduate electrical engineer and a qualified pilot, who has worked as a Commander on American Airlines.
All our coaches are Kinesis Level 2 or higher certified coaches. The Kinesis Coach Certification is a program that conforms to global standards and was designed and developed by Krishna Kumar and Pavan Murthy based on the programs of the PTR/USPTA/ITF.
Keerthi Basavaraju is a former international tennis player who joined the Kinesis Team in 2006. During his career as a tennis professional he played in a number of USTA and international tournaments in the US including the prestigious Legg Mason Classic, and reached an ATP ranking as high as 1277 in the world. With a national ranking of 36, Keerthi also represented the state of Karnataka at the 5th National Games held at Imphal (Manipur) in 1999. Apart from his impressive career as a tennis player, he is also a certified USPTR Certified Professional, a Kinesis Master Trainer, has more than ten years of experience as a tennis coach in India and the US, and is also a certified Cardio-Tennis Instructor.
Vibhash V Vaidya, a USPTR Certified Professional and a Kinesis certified Level Two tennis coach joined our team in January 2010. He is also certified by the United States National Tennis Academy as a Tennis Coach. Vibhash holds an Engineering degree (NIT-Kurukshetra) and two Master's degrees from the US (Ohio State University and Illinois Institute of Technology). With an interest in the field of Sports Science coupled with his advanced research and analytical background, Vibhash further adds to our highly qualified and professional team.
Nivedita Rajan, a former Basketball player, joined the Kinesis team in 2003. She represented and then captained the state team of Karnataka for several years, and also led them to the runners up podium at the Senior National Championship held at Kolkata (Calcutta) in 1986. Nivedita's educational background includes a Pre -Doctoral degree in Sports Psychology, a Master's in Clinical Psychology, and a professional degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. As a qualified Sports Psychologist she counsels students at Kinesis in the area of mental toughness and fitness, and has also been working with leading sports persons in Badminton (Prakash Padukone Badminton academy) and Basketball (Burn Basketball academy). With more than 14 years of corporate work experience Nivedita also assists in the administrative and HR functions at Kinesis.
